About DSrupted

The digital signage landscape and eco-system is experiencing big changes. It’s a time of opportunity, risk and confusion. Technology developments are forcing changes in almost all aspects of digital signage is executed – from the playback devices through software and data integration.

The one day conference will focus on the emerging technologies that are changing the way Digital Signage projects are planned, budgeted and managed, and how this tech is greatly expanding the eco-system and competitive landscape.

The conference has been organized by digital signage industry veteran Dave Haynes, who writes the popular blog Sixteen:Nine and has for years been tracking and commenting on the shifting technologies and their impacts on the business.

The conference is being held in the conference centre at the downtown Toronto headquarters of the Canadian telecommunications giant TELUS, whose digital signage team is our host sponsor.

The building at 25 York Street is just steps away from Toronto’s Union Station, making it easily accessible by subway, commuter or passenger rail. There’s also plenty of parking. If you’re planning on staying around before or after, downtown Toronto hotels are just short walks away.

Dedicated Mobile Apps

Network with fellow DSrupted attendees before, during and after the event – using your Android or iOS phones – by downloading and activating the dedicated DSrupted app. It’s free.

Bizzabo integrates social media to build highly-interactive event communities, helping organizers, sponsors and exhibitors to engage directly with guests and seek out meaningful new business opportunities. We want to help you take your conference to the next level.

DSrupted Mixer Coming 9/16

Details are still getting firmed up, but it’s looking like there will be a mixer on Sept. 16th, the night before the DSrupted event in Toronto on Sept. 17th.

The mixer will be a good networking opportunity ahead of the disruptive technology in digital signage event set for the Telus conference centre in downtown Toronto.

Four of five speakers are set and I am banging away at one hold-out I hope I can close, to round off the group. Should be great event, with subject matter experts on Google web services, sensors and connected things, beacons and HTML5.
